Aliso Viejo, CA – March 9, 2009 On Friday, March 6, 2009 Governor. Charlie Crist appointed Realtor® Dick Fryer, President of IFREC Real Estate School of Orlando, Florida as FREC's (Florida Real Estate Commission) newest Commissioner. "Dick has long been a tireless champion of the real estate industry, most notably as a real estate license school owner and instructor," says FAR President Cynthia Shelton. "Dick serves on numerous local, state and national REALTOR® Association committees, and is a FAR and NAR director."

 

Fryer, who is from Lake Mary, will serve FREC alongside FAR past president Roger Enzor. In addition to Fryer, Crist also appointed Michael J. Guju of Palm Harbor's Guju Law Firm to serve as a FREC commissioner.

 

In 2002, Mr. Fryer was named Educator of the Year by the Florida Association of REALTORS® and currently serves on the National Advisory Board of the Real Estate Buyer’s Agent Council (REBAC). In 2004, Mr. Fryer was named REALTOR® of the Year by the Orlando Regional REALTORS® Association. In 2005, Mr. Fryer / IFREC Real Estate Schools were inducted into the REBAC Hall of Fame. Mr. Fryer is Past-President of the Real Estate Educators Association, a national/international trade organization of real estate educators.  Under his direction IFREC Real Estate School recently received the RealtyU Pinnacle Award, honoring IFREC as the number one school in the RealtyU National Network for 2008.
