– The
Real Estate Professionals Society (REPS), this week announced
the approval of the Home Inspection Master Course offered by
Thomson-CompuTaught as fulfilling the requirements for their
Home
Inspection Real Estate Professional (HIREP) designation.
REPS is a Society that recognizes the new business expertise
required by real estate professionals in the changing home
buying and selling industry and is dedicated to expanding
the knowledge of real estate agents. The Society awards various
real estate designations in a number of different real estate
disciplines upon successful completion of the related real
estate course meeting the standards established for each designation.
“This excellent 120-hour curriculum,” says Era
Swanepoel, Deputy Executive Director of the Society, “provides
real estate agents with knowledge regarding the inspection,
writing reports, legal issues, structural components of the
home, exterior and interior components, and exteriors such
as landscaping, retaining walls, patios and driveways. In
addition the course covers roofing systems, drainage systems,
insulation and ventilation, electrical, plumbing and air conditioning
systems.” This home inspection course has also already
been approved by the American Society of Home
Inspectors and the National
Association of Home Inspectors.
“HIREP is a great designation for top producing real
estate agents to differentiate themselves by acquiring additional
expertise. This home inspection course can be taken online
(24 x 7) from the convenience of the agent’s home by
going to www.RealtyUOnline.com.
The HIREP designation is earned upon successful completion
