100 Rookies Move in Round 2

  • Real Estate Apprentice Rookies again Compete for Top Title

    ALISO VIEJO, CA, July 23, 2007 – The top 100 rookies for Season VI of the Real Estate Apprentice Foundations bi-annual grant program were selected this week. Each of the 100 applicants was sent five additional essay questions to answer in addition to standard background verification questions. Upon receipt, 30 Semi-Finalists will be chosen who are then placed before an independent panel of 15 Judges who will select the 10 finalists and one ultimate Grand Prize Winner.

    The second round group of 100 applicants represented a large geographic span across the US with Texas taking top honors; followed by Florida. The following is a list of the round two candidates per state:

    The top real estate school with the largest number of round 2 candidates is Champions School of Real Estate in Texas, followed by Career Education Systems in Kansas and Hogan School of Real Estate in Arizona.

    The Real Estate Apprentice Foundation is widely recognized as the only non Profit Foundation of its kind in the real estate industry that provides real estate education, products and services free of charge to new agents. Now, surpassing over $1 million in annual grants, the Foundation has already provided grants totaling $3 million since its inception in 2004. The Grand Prize Winner will receive $70,000 worth of real estate education products and services and the nine Finalists will receive similar items valued at $7,000. All awards are donated by leading real estate industry companies whose intent is to place rookie agents on a fast track to success and to help reduce the rookie agent failure rate.

According to a spokesperson for The Foundation, not only is sponsorship a great way to fulfill a company’s corporate responsibility of giving back to the very industry that supports it, but is it a unique way to illuminate the company’s products and services and gain significant marketing awareness.
