| Aliso Viejo, Calif., Nov. 30, 2005 – RealtyU®, America’s largest
network of real estate schools with over 245 locations today announced that The
Santa Clara County Association of REALTORS® – the largest real estate
board in Northern California - had been approved as a RealtyU® Affiliate.
According to Paul Stewart, Chief Executive Officer, “Over the years,
our members have made significant contributions, both in the real estate industry
and to the quality of life in Santa Clara County, through their community service
activities. The history of the Santa Clara County Association of REALTORS® is
one of recognizing the changing needs in the real estate industry, economy,
and technology, and leading the way in responding to those needs.”
The RealtyU® network of real estate schools has 400 qualified and licensed
real estate instructors that offer more than 5,000 different real estate training
courses and programs every year. Real estate schools and REALTOR® Associations
closely cooperate especially with regard to creating new courses such as the
Seller Agency® Council(ASR®) course, serving national education
contracts and cooperating in providing online real estate courses. In 2004
RealtyU® schools educated over 305,000 real estate agents in live classroom
formats and another 32,000 agents online.
Founded in 1896, the Santa Clara County Association of REALTORS® was
the first real estate board in California and members from SCCAOR were instrumental
in founding the California and National Associations of REALTORS® (CAR).
SCCAOR is also the largest real estate association in Northern California.
