| ALISO VIEJO, CA., Oct. 26, 2005 - It was
announced today by Stefan Swanepoel that The RealtyU® Group,
the largest shareholder in RealtyU®, Inc., had acquired
all the outstanding stock of RealtyU® Inc. The RealtyU® Network
of schools and colleges serves 42 states from over 225 campuses
with more than 400 some instructors educating over 300,000
real estate professionals every year.
RealtyU®, Inc. is now a wholly owned subsidiary of
the RealtyU® Group of companies that includes a number
of other real estate education and training business entities
such as iSucceed, The Real Estate Professionals Society,
CourseDates.com and The Seller Agency Council. “Increasing
the ownership from 40% to 100% affords us the opportunity
to expand both the products and services offered by RealtyU® schools
and to significantly enhance the career development opportunity
for agents,” says Swanepoel.
RealtyU® has been extremely active in the marriage
of online technologies with the classroom experience through
various initiatives such as CourseDates.com and RealtyU Online.
The company feels that in order for the RealtyU® Network
of schools to meet the needs of the real estate professional
of today and especially tomorrow, they must have courseware
and career development services of the highest quality provided
in multiple formats. “With the previous multiple ownership
of RealtyU® now being consolidated into one, we are much
better positioned to focus and put our full weight behind
specific key initiatives,” says Bill Shue, President
of The RealtyU® Group.
Swanepoel confirmed that additional acquisitions were very
likely and that announcements could be expected in the coming
weeks. “We are always interested in adding synergistic
educational businesses to our Group to continuously enhance
our growing family of real estate education and training
services,” he added. The RealtyU® family of companies
is now the largest educator of real estate agents in the
United States and one of the leading advocates for the advancement
of professionalism in the real estate brokerage industry.
