Seattle King County Association of Realtors hold their 1st ASR Class
Aliso Viejo, June 20, 2007.  Recently the Seattle-King County Association of Realtors in Bellevue, WA held their first ASR class.  According to Claudia Crowell, Director of Business Practices for the Association, the class was an outstanding success with over 65 members completing the course and becoming new members of the Seller Agency Council.

The course was taught by longtime RealtyU Instructor, Rhonda Hamilton of AllStar Academy of Real Estate in Dallas, TX.  Hamilton said she was pleased that so many agents across the country are beginning to see the true value of advanced education in the real estate industry.  “Commitment to enhancing not only one’s career but their individual skill set is a growing trend that is long over due in our industry.  If agents want to truly become successful in today’s market it’s going to be through courses like the ASR Program.  Today’s Sellers are much more focused today on the transaction and what part they want to play in it.  As a professional looking for an edge over the competition this designation is an excellent choice,” she said.

The Seller Agency Council, through it’s ASR Designation has experienced very significant growth through the first quarter of this year as a direct result of large classes like the one held by Seattle-King County and the growing number of agents electing to take the course online.  According to Thomas M. Mitchell, SVP of RealtyU, Inc., the largest independent network of real estate schools across the country, “agents are becoming far more proactive where their career is concerned than in the recent past.  The growth of the Seller Agency Council is also being reflected in other designation courses offered by RealtyU such as the Accredited Luxury Home Specialist (ALHS) and the newly released Certified Neighborhood Specialist (CNS) course.  This is the time that we are seeing the real professionals in the industry invest in themselves and their careers.”

The Accredited Seller Representative course and ASR designation is now available from the RealtyU Network of over 200 real estate school locations (www.RealtyUschools.com) across the country or can be taken online at www.RealtyUonline.com
