Amazing Rookies Win Real Estate Apprentice Grants
SEASON II PRODUCES EXCELLENT CANDIDATES AND RESULTS
ALISO VIEJO, CA., Aug. 26, 2005 - The Real Estate Apprentice™ Foundation this week announced the complete list of all 10 finalists for the second Season of the Real Estate Apprentice Grant Program. They are:

Corlia MacDonald of Weichert Realtors;
Richard Daugherty of Century21 Realty Group Reisert;
Kathleen “Katie” Wyatt of New Home Marketing Wichita;
Kristi Beamon of Coldwell Banker Schweitzer;
Roland Castillo of Keller Williams Real Estate;
Roxann McDaniel of Prudential Gary Greene;
Robert Ginn of Harry Norman Realtors;
Priscilla Whiteside of Coldwell Banker Best Realty;
Troy Shepherd of Century 21 Triad, and
Tina Barletta of RE/MAX Classic Realty.

The 10 Finalists were selected from 3,593 applicants in Season II and each will receive $5,000 worth of real estate education products, books, and services from the Foundation, courtesy of various prominent and industry leaders that sponsor the only national grant competition program helping new agents be more successful. On Wednesday, August 31st the Foundation will announce which one of the Finalist will receive the Grand Prize Grant valued at $75,000 and the title “The Real Estate Apprentice.” No repayment is required on any Real Estate Apprentice Grant.
Grants are sponsored by First American Residential Group, Hobbs Herder Advertising & Design, iSucceed Online Real Estate Mentoring, Success Strategies Institute, McLean International, RealtyU® Real Estate Schools, Thomson Learning, Calculated Industries, The Real Estate CyberSpace Society, Broker Agent News, and RIS Media. An independent panel of 12 judges http://www.realestateapprentice.com/judges.cfm selected the 10 finalists and applications were evaluated on the basis of salesmanship and communication skills, entrepreneurial spirit, integrity, creativity and uniqueness. Many of the finalists have already begun listing and selling homes in the short time-span of their few months in real estate. One applicant in particular has listed an amazing 11 and sold 11 homes during the six months in the Industry.
“By giving new agents a leg up in increasing their competence, the Real Estate Apprentice Grant Program is doing the real estate industry a major service," says Dr. John Tuccillo, leading author and industry consultant. Don Hobbs, Co-Founder and Chairman of the Board of Hobbs/Herder, one of the major sponsors of the Grant Program said, “This is a wonderful way for tomorrow’s most promising real estate professionals to get on the right path toward a rewarding career.”
According to Dr. Martin Oliver, Deputy Executive Director of The Apprentice Foundation, “The Grant Program is the only charitable non profit company in the USA designed to help build a stronger future real estate brokerage industry by providing new rookie agents guidance, education, products and services to get their new careers off to a better and faster start.”
Season III of the Real Estate Apprentice Grant Program started July 1st, 2005 and will run through December 31st, 2005. Real estate agents who have taken or will be taking their new agent pre-licensing class during the Season III time-frame or 90 days prior, or those who were newly licensed for the first time as an agent during that same time frame can enter the Grant Program by simply applying online at www.RealEstateApprentice.com.
